Kathy & Michael: 11-10-07

I could not have asked for a better wedding to end the season with! From the moment I shot Kathy and Michael's engagement last spring, I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding. Kathy was absolutely stunning in her gown and the dresses she chose for her girls were fabulous.

I have to say this was one of my favorite weddings this year. I love this couple! They are amazing together and a ton of fun!

I just love the expression on Dad's face as he joins his daughter on the dance floor.

The wedding party seemed to be a pretty tight knit group with a lot of history between them. The men, in particular, added much amusement to the day.

The sun couldn't decide if it was going to blind us or hide from us. Thank God for digital and the ability to change settings quickly!

I know these images are a bit out of order...I'm posting this at almost 10pm and I've been editing all day...I hope you will cut me a little slack :)

The ceremony took place at Heritage Park with the reception held at the Olathe Trail Riders Club. You can't really tell from the outside, but the club made for a really nice atmosphere for the night. Jami, owner of Electric Entertainment, provided great DJ services...I have to say one of the best DJs I've worked with all summer. She takes great pride in her work, and gives her all to provide an amazing night. You can check her out at http://www.eekaraoke.com/
Kathy and Michael, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day! I can't wait to get the rest of your images up...please bear with me though as there are MANY to go through and the holidays are right on top of us! God bless in your new life together!

Kim + Glynn: 11-3-07

Kim and Glynn were a great couple to work with last Saturday and I have to say the weather was absolutely gorgeous! I love fall and can't get enough of it...I only wish it would last longer!

We did a couple of dance sessions during this shoot after they expressed their need for practice. With their wedding set for next August, I think they've got plenty of time....although my husband and I practice before our own wedding, we ended up with the usual turn and sway.

Rebekah + Mike: 10-27-07

Well, I'm behind in my blogging as usual... Time to play catch up.
It was a gorgeous fall evening on the base at Fort Leavenworth. Rebekah and Mike were married a week prior in Vegas. They shared a video from their ceremony with family and guests at the reception. From the brief glimpses I got between shots, it seemed to have been an amazing day for them.

I would have to say that the bouquet toss was the highlight of the evening. The giant glass chandelier above the dance floor had no idea what was coming as Rebekah geared up for the toss.
oops!
A cleaning crew quickly assembled...hopefully in time for the facility manager not to notice.

First dances are always my favorite!

It was all I could to hold myself back from diving into this cake...I didn't get a chance to find out who made it.... Gorgeous job!

Both fathers were quite the characters. Mike's dad had been a football coach to the groomsmen back in the day, and he helped keep them all in line during the formal shots.

The DJ for the evening was Danny Hass of Premier Midwest http://www.premiermidwestdj.com/
Danny and I go back a couple of years and he was also the DJ at my own wedding back in April of 2006. Outstanding job Danny! He has a sense of style and ease at weddings and always seems to be having a blast.

About Christina

One of my favorite memories from my own wedding, aside from marrying my husband, was when my Dad walked me down the aisle and I leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll always be your little girl."  I love that moment!
It's moments that make up our lives, defines who we are, and ultimately create our destinies.  Many such moments have brought me to where I am today.  I began photographing in 2001, and began Sandberg Photography in the fall of 2006.  This has been a huge dream of mine, and I believe that God has given me a gift of capturing unique and special moments; without Him, I am truly nothing!  I owe this dream to Him!
